Box Score Atlanta, Ga.---Senior Keierica Howard led the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers with nine kills in their straight set win over Brewton Parker College (25-19, 25-22 and 25-15) at Epps Gymnasium Friday.

CAU (2-0) smashed its way to its second consecutive victory on the season with 46 total kills compared to 10 for Brewton Parker. Sierra Scoggins and Chanel Trice recorded seven kills each for the Lady Panthers followed by Cori Smith with six. Clark Atlanta served up seven aces led by Tyneishah Spears and Dariyan Stallings with two each.

In their opening match, the Lady Panthers came back from a two set deficit Tuesday for a 3-2 over Emmanuel College (18-25, 21-25, 28-26, 25-23, 48-13) at Epps Gymnasium. Next, they will compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) cross over tournament Sept. 19-21, hosted by Kentucky State University. CAU's next home game will be Sept. 24, at 5 pm, against Claflin University.
