Orangeburg, S.C.---In their first Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) East Divisional volleyball game, the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers extended their win streak to nine consecutive games with a five-set victory (20-25, 25-20, 24-26,
25-22, 15-6) on the road against Claflin University Thursday night.

Senior Ashley Brooks led CAU (10-7, 7-0) with 12 kills followed by Chanel Trice and fellow senior Danica Lawrence who both added nine. Defensively, Tyneishah Spears recorded a team-high 16 digs. Clark Atlanta holds second place in the East and will host Fort Valley State Tuesday in a double-header match at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2nd. All CAU HOME are played at Epps Gymnasium.
