The Lady Panthers (15-15, SIAC 11-3) started the week with a loss on the road to Talladega College (22-25, 23-25, 25-14 and 19-25), despite senior Ashley Brooks recording a season-high 15 kills and a .440 hitting percentage. Straight set lossed to Albany State  (14-25, 19-25 and 19-25), Augusta State (12-25, 10-25, and 15-25) and Queens College (6-25, 10-25, and 16-25).

Clark Atlanta finished 1-1 in its second home Tri-Match Saturday featuring Claflin University and North Greenville University. The Lady Panthers fell to Claflin in a grueling five-set match (25-13, 19-25, 25-20, 16-25, and 14-16) in game one, but topped the Lady Crusaders in four sets (27-25, 12-25, 25-20, and 25-13).

Depsite the two conference losses last week, the Lady Panthers remain in second place in the East and will look to bounce back this week as they host Talladega in a rematch tonight Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., and conference foe Paine College Friday, Oct. 26th, at 6 p.m., for Senior Night.
