Lady Panthers Poised for Championship Run

No. 4 Kailyn Blackmon sets to Middle Hitter No. 13 Danica Lawrence

Albany, GA- The fourth-seeded Lady Panthers of Clark Atlanta University will take on No. 3 LeMoyne-Owen College at 12 p.m., today in the first round of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) volleyball championships being held in Albany, Georgia on the campus of Albany State University.

The Lady Panthers are led by first team All-Conference selection Ashley Brooks and junior Danica Lawrence. CAU finished the regular season 11-16 overall and 9-7 in the conference after dropping two of their last three matches including a tough five set lose to Benedict College on the road.
