Softball Falls on the Road at West Georgia

CARROLLTON, Ga. -- The Clark Atlanta softball team (2-8, 0-0 SIAC) traveled down 20-West to take on Gulf South Conference opponent West Georgia on Tuesday afternoon. The Wolves took game one 13-3 and game two 25-5. 

Jazmin Scott and Johannas Bentley each recorded a hit for the Panthers in game one. Bentley also logged the lone RBI in the game for the Lady Panthers. Sierra Lopez led Clark Atlanta with two runs followed by a run from Jazmin Scott. 

In game two, the Lady Panthers mustered up five runs but ultimately fell short 25-5. Five players recorded hits including Jazmin Scott, Myia Lambert, Rasheedah Hasan, Sarah Colbert, and Johannas Bentley. 

UP NEXT

Clark Atlanta softball returns to action this weekend (Feb. 16-18) as they head to Spartanburg, S.C. to compete in the SIAC/CIAA Challenge.
