ATLANTA, Ga. | The Lady Panthers softball team scored a season-high 15 runs on the way to a 15-4 win over conference foe Savannah State on Wednesday afternoon.

 HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Myia Lambert ignited the game's first score with a sac fly to bring Jazmin Scott home to give CAU a 1-0 lead in the first inning.
• Rachel Carroll used a triple to add two more scores for CAU.
• The Lady Panthers tacked on three more runs in the first frame to sit in front, 6-0, over SSU headed into the second inning.
• The Lady Tigers battled back in the third inning to cut the margin to 7-4.
• Clark Atlanta scored eight unanswered runs in the fourth inning to trounce Savannah State 15-4 in five innings.

ON THE MOUND 

• Jayla Hill got the start and the win on the mound for the Lady Panthers.
• Coreya Quarterman earned a save on the day.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

• Jazmin Scott went a perfect 4-for-4 at-bat in the win with one stolen base and an RBI.
• Myia Lambert led CAU in RBIs with a team-high three on the day with a stolen base to add.
• CAU registered 13 hits on the day compared to SSU's eight.
