GAME 1

HOW IT HAPPENED (GM 1)

• Clark Atlanta took a 2-0 lead when Ymari Blackmon stole home in the second inning.
• The Golden Bears knotted the score at two apiece at the bottom of the second.
• Andreya Hunter logged a single to bring Johannas Bentley home and put the Lady Panthers back in front 4-3 in the fifth.
• Rachel Carroll stole home to give CAU a two-run advantage (5-3).
• Miles College scored seven unanswered runs to take a 10-5 lead in the fifth inning.
• The Lady Panthers were able to score two more runs, but Miles College pulled out a tough 10-7 win over CAU.

ON THE MOUND (GM 1)

• Ymari Blackmon got the start on the mound for CAU and took the loss. Blackmon struck out two batters on the day.
• Boudreaux got the win for Miles College with just two strikeouts.

INSIDE THE BOX (GM 1)

• Jazmin Scott and Rachel Carroll each registered two runs on the day for CAU. Carroll also led the Lady Panthers in hits with a team-high two.
• Scott recorded the lone triple on the day for Clark Atlanta.
• Andreya Hunter and Rime Clark each stole two bases on the day.

GAME 2
HOW IT HAPPENED (GM 2)

• Johannas Bentley doubled to left field to bring T'Maja Oges in for a score and put CAU out in front 1-0 in the first inning.
• Spring Hill scored two runs in the third followed by two in the fourth inning to escape with a 4-1 win over Clark Atlanta.

ON THE MOUND (GM 2)

• Jayla Hill got the start on the mound for Clark Atlanta. Hill logged one strikeout on the day.

INSIDE THE BOX (GM 2)

• Johannas Bentley registered a team-high two hits and one RBI for Clark Atlanta.

NEXT UP
The Lady Panthers softball team returns to action tomorrow (Mar. 12) for day two of the SIAC Crossover Tournament. Clark Atlanta is slated to face Tuskegee at 10 a.m. and Lane College at 2:30 p.m.
