Hill befuddled Voorhees hitters in striking out six batters and walking none. Hill only had to throw 58 pitches and faced just 17 batters in a dominating, five-inning performance.Â
Clark Atlanta had a big second inning when
Rachel Carroll, followed by walks to Hill and
Joh'nell Clark.
Sarah Colbert then singled in Carroll and
Sania Butler doubled in Hill and Clark. Colbert then scored on passed ball, followed by a walk to
Alexis Scott.
Arianna Hansley then tripled, scoring Butler and Scott.Â
Tatianna Kelly, who was playing her final home game at CAU, hit a hard grounder that the Voorhees second baseman couldn't handle. Kelly reached and Hansley scored on the play, giving CAU a 7-0 lead.Â
Hansley added an RBI single ini the third inning, while Carroll hit a two-run homer in the fourth.Â
