ATLANTA, Ga. - After the come-from-behind victory over Morehouse, 37-36, Clark Atlanta had two selections for the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Week 5 honors as Johnathon McCrary was named Offensive Player of the Week and Dre Martin was named Newcomer of the Week.

McCrary, Newcomer of the Week in Week 4, passed for single-game highs in the conference in yards and attempts. The junior transfer from Vanderbilt went 27-for-45 for 456 yards and five touchdowns.

Martin made the most of his starting opportunity by recording seven receptions for 238 yards and three scores. The freshman from LaGrange set the mark for most receiving yards in a game this season for an SIAC player while scoring from 35, 48, and 17 yards in the second half.

Clark Atlanta will have a short week and will travel to Rome to play Shorter University on Oct. 6 from Barron Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
